Caleb Gardiner is now Antigua and Barbuda’s newest and youngest Senator at the age of 23, after receiving his instruments of appointment on Thursday at Government House.
He was selected by the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) to replace Senator Eustace ‘Teco’ Lake, who is retiring.
His accomplishments follow that of Senator Shenella Govia who was appointed to the Senate at the age of 22 and became the youngest appointed in the history of Antigua and Barbuda.
Senator Gardiner is currently the Vice President Elect of JCI Antigua, and was the first President of the Guild of Students for The University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus.
