LIAT (Leeward Islands Air Transport) has announced a disruption to its regular flight schedule due to unscheduled maintenance issues that have forced the airline to suspend its operations.

As a consequence of ongoing maintenance disruptions, LIAT has had to cancel several flights in the upcoming weeks.

In a press statement, the airline says it is currently working to address these maintenance concerns and return its aircraft to their regular schedules. However, due to logistical and supply chain issues, LIAT is unable to provide a concrete timeline for the resumption of its normal flight operations.

In response to this situation, LIAT says it is actively exploring all available options to assist affected passengers. The airline’s Reservations Call Centre is reaching out to those passengers whose travel plans have been affected to provide support and assistance. LIAT is also putting significant efforts into expediting the maintenance process to ensure a swift return to its regular schedule, which is vital for regional connectivity.

Passengers are encouraged to stay informed by monitoring their email inboxes and LIAT’s social media platforms for updates on the situation. Given the anticipated high volume of inquiries, LIAT requests that passengers await their contact calls or, alternatively, contact the airline via email at Reservations@liat.com.
