St John’s, Antigua – A 56-year-old Jamaican man, locally known as ” Cliff,” has died after collapsing on a city street Wednesday morning.

The man was found unresponsive near the intersection of Corn Alley and Redcliffe Street, shortly after exiting his vehicle around 8:30 AM. Witnesses reported seeing him collapse, prompting a swift response from Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

When paramedics arrived, they attempted to resuscitate him but were unsuccessful. He was then transported to Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death and are working to formally identify the man and notify his next of kin.
